Our deepest sympathy to your family. I (Donna) have known Pete since I was 18. I got to know the family through Kevin my spouse. I enjoyed all my times being involved in the fire company. Preparing the cakes for the Marietta carnival. Always looked forward to that. Mary Beaston and I would make them together at the fire hall. Our sons and Crystal used to play together at the hall and sled on the back hill there. Wonderful memories. God bless your family. RIP our wonderful friend Pete. Love you all. Sorry for your lost. Pete and I graduated together in the class of 1970 DHS. We went to many classes together, but enjoyed working with him in wood shop the best. Pete enjoyed working with wood. Pete got me started hunting and I enjoyed many of Saturdays walking in the fields and woods with him and his uncles. Rest in Peace my friend. Denny

So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. Our Mother was a resident of Masonic Village and we all became very fond of Pete. He always brought the newspaper to Momma everyday. I remember one conversation with Pete when he was telling me his favorite foods that his Mom made for him. Our Momma passed away in 2011 and the day I was cleaning her room he stopped by to say how much he like her and that he was sorry for our loss. That meant so much as that was a hard job to do and he made it a bit better by his visit. He was a special guy and will be missed by many at the Village. Your memories of him will always keep him close.

Have good memories of Pete as we went thru school and growing up in Marietta . Enjoyed hanging out with him on his porch in the summer evenings and running around with him , Denny Frank and Delbert Flowers. Good working with him on incident scenes. Sorry for your loss.
