Dakota Scott Bachman

Dakota Scott Bachman, 20, of Millersville, died on Monday, January 30, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Martic Township.  Born February 11, 1996 in Lancaster, he was the son of Lynn M. (Bauman) Greider and Rick F. Bachman.

He is survived by his mother, Lynn, of Millersville as well as his father, Rick and girlfriend, Tonya Sharpe, of New Providence.  Also surviving are his siblings; Tyla M. McFail and husband, Robbie, of Pequea; Benjamin M. Greider, of Lancaster; Brianna J. Kolb, of New Providence; Maternal Grandfather, Barry M. Bauman, of Pequea; Maternal Grandmother, Cheryl D. Trimble and husband, Robert, of New Providence; Paternal Grandparents, Harold F. Bachman and wife, Betty A., of Conestoga as well Dakota’s extended family and caring friends. 

A Celebration of Dakota’s Life will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Willow Street Fire Company (Al Starr Building), 2901 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA  17584.  Visitation will follow the service on Saturday.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay Street, Marietta, PA  17547, 717-426-3614.
