I was a dietary aide to Banks at Juniper village. I found out he once dated my grandmother Joy Sumpman back in the day. We enjoyed talking and him sharing stories of when he knew my Grandma. I know he had kind heart, he always asked how my kids are doing and he gave them each a teddy bear. I am happy I got to know Banks. Praying for peace and comfort for his family .he was missed here when he left juniper.

I have very pleasant memories when reminiscing of Marietta baseball and Bank's conversations behind home plate as a player, as Banks was the umpire. I hear him calling balls, strikes and outs and the clicking of his counter like it was yesterday. Rest in peace Banks as I'm sure you bring pleasant memories to many ball players and coaches. My condolences to the Wagner family.
