Obituary

Ronald Lee Parmer 77, of Bainbridge, passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Saturday, August 11, 1945 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Caroline (McComsey) and Robert H. Parmer, Sr.

A truck driver, Ron was retired from Wenger Feeds. He previously drove for several other companies and numerous farms. Ron enjoyed yardwork, fishing and when he was younger, riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by three brothers: Robert H. Parmer, Jr. of Lewistown; Guy Parmer and wife Nancy of Manheim and Richard Parmer and wife Sally of Annville; four nieces, three nephews and his friend Robert J. Heller of Bainbridge.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 AM Until the time of service. Interment will take place in Silver Spring Cemetery.
