Danny W. Shifflett

Danny W. Shifflett, 65, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at home. Born Thursday, April 24, 1958 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry and Kathryn (Yocum) Shifflett. He was married 45 years to Jaylene (Eckinger) Shifflett.

Danny had been employed at Grinnell, Chemtron and DAS. He was a member of Middletown Angler’s and Hunter’s Association. He enjoyed watching westerns, hunting and fishing, and spending time at the river. He loved most the time spent with family.

In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by two daughters: Shannon M. Westrick (Tim Cisney) of Elizabethtown and Tanya J. Rafferty of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren: Dylan, Zaine, Crimson and Nevaeh; a sister Kathy Tittle; and two brothers: Dave Shifflett (Robin) and Doug Shifflett. He was predeceased by a brother Dennis Shifflett.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Encounter Church, 221 North Front Street, Bainbridge, PA 17502 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
