Kiffanny (Herr) Grosh, Marietta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018, on her 43rdbirthday, with family by her side at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. She fought a very courageous 3-year battle with cancer.
Born October 21, 1975 in Columbia, she was the daughter of Kathy Herr of Marietta and the late James E. Herr. She was the loving wife and best friend to her husband, David Grosh, for 10 years.
Kiffanny graduated in 1994 from Donegal High School and was employed as a medical receptionist. Kiffanny loved the beach and seeing sunrises, especially at Ocean City, MD. She loved socializing with her many friends and had an amazing sense of humor. She loved travel, her favorite spot being Pigeon Forge, TN. Most of all she loved her family, especially her two sons, and proudly watched them participate in sports and growing into young men.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her two sons: Mason McCoy and David Havice, both at home; a brother James Herr (husband of Danielle) of Mount Joy and a niece Delaney Bleecher.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Faith Outreach Center, 475 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kiffanny’s name may be made to Faith Outreach Center.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to Hospice and Community Care, and the doctors, nurses and caregivers at all the facilities where Kiffanny was cared for.
