Daniel J. Howell

Daniel J. Howell, 65, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Friday, December 7, 1951 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of Charlotte (Claus) Howell of Columbia and the late Richard Howell. He was married 45 years to Janette L. (Wertz) Howell also of Marietta.

Daniel served 20 years in the US Navy Submarine Service, retired from Wyeth Laboratories in Marietta, then worked part-time at Manheim Auto Auction.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters: Sandra L. Zack and husband Nicholas of Elizabethtown and Amy S. Webb and husband Bruce of Mount Joy; a son John R. Howell and his wife Katherine Stambaugh of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
