Christopher Mackie Teese

Christopher Mackie Teese, 48, of Marietta, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born Monday, January 11, 1971, in Scranton, he was the son of Charles F. Teese, Jr. and Sally Ann (Mackie) Teese. 

Chris was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.  He was a past member of the National Skate Patrol as well as the Three Rivers Inline Club.  He and his companion, Melissa, loved to go for motorcycle rides.

In addition to his parents, Charlie and Sally, of Navarre, Florida, he is survived by a daughter, Helen Teese, of Lancaster; his companion, Melissa Schweers, of Marietta; and three sisters: Wendy Jacoby, engaged to Paul Spilsbury, of Mars, PA , Kerri Pate, married to Jim, of Mobile, AL, and Gwen Schoonmaker, married to Chris, of State College, PA, as well as nieces, nephews, and Chris’ extended family and caring friends. 

A Celebration of Chris’s life will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at McCleary’s Pub, 130 West Front Street, Marietta, PA  17547.  Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay Street, Marietta, PA  17547, 717-426-3614.
