Stephanie L. Smedley

Stephanie Lynn Smedley, 43 of Bainbridge, formerly of Philadelphia, died on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Born in Hershey, she was the daughter of Gary L. and Kathy E. (Parks) Smedley.

Stephanie was a 1991 graduate of Mount Calvary Christian School. Stephanie worked for a number of years as a flight attendant and enjoyed all the traveling experiences. She also enjoyed traveling with her parents to visit her brother doing cultural work in Southeast Asia. She was a very energetic and well-loved woman who exemplified compassion and creativity. Using her strong work ethic, she went on to work in restaurants as a server and manager.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three siblings, Andrea L. Bouffard (David M.) of Fort Ann, NY, Jonathan M. Smedley (Kristen J.) of Southeast Asia, Matthew D. Smedley (Kathleen D.) of Vancouver, BC, and 14 nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Word of Life Chapel, 139 Wickersham Rd., Bainbridge, PA 17502 with Pastor Mark Habecker officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service. Burial in Marietta Cemetery will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N.
