Paul W. “Pete” Armold

Paul W. “Pete” Armold, 65, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  He was born March 5, 1951 in Columbia to the late Woodrow W. and Mary J. (Kline) Armold.

Pete was a lifetime member of the Pioneer Fire Company #1 of Marietta and a past member of the Neffsville Fire Department.

He will be lovingly missed by his children, Crystal “Chris” L. Gaus, and husband, Philip, of Marietta; Michael P. Armold and fiancé, Abby N. Miller, of Columbia; a brother, Donald Armold and wife, Genny, of Lancaster and a sister, Beverly Ruby and husband, Vincent, of West Hempfield.  He was preceded in death by a brother, George Armold and George’s wife, Evelyn.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1290 River Road, Marietta, PA  17547 with Reverend Traci Glover officiating.  Burial will follow in the Maytown Union Cemetery.  There will be a viewing held at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service on Friday.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547, 717-426-3614. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pete’s memory to the Pioneer Fire Company #1, PO Box 93, Marietta, PA  17547.
