Oliver G. “Ollie” Gingrich

Oliver G. “Ollie” Gingrich, 69, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, August 7, 2016 after dying of natural causes at his home in Mount Joy.  Born June 12, 1947 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Oliver H. and Edna P. (Sweigart) Gingrich.

He was the husband of Yvonne L. (Fetter) Gingrich with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage in October of 2015.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Andrew B. Gingrich (Julie) and Jennifer E. Squibbs (Ben); three grandchildren: Jocelyn Squibbs, Logan and Sophia Gingrich and a brother, Rodney A. Gingrich.

Ollie attended Harvest Community Church and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  After retiring from Gingrich’s Market, Bainbridge, he enjoyed reading and watching old movies.

Private burial will take place in the Bainbridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547, 717-426-3614.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ollie’s honor to Harvest Community Church, PO Box 495, Maytown, PA  17550.
