Banks W. Wagner

Banks W. Wagner, 86, formerly of Marietta, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon.  Born Thursday, May 15, 1930 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Isaac and Cora Mae (Knepp) Wagner.  He was married to Dorothy M. (Sperla) Wagner for nearly 60 years.  Mrs. Wagner died on June 16, 2010.

A Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Banks proudly served with the U.S. Navy.  He retired from AMP in Landisville where he worked for over 40 years.  He also served as Past Master of the Abraham C. Triechler Lodge #682, F.&A.M., Elizabethtown and was a member of the Harrisburg Consistory

He will be lovingly missed by two children: Jennifer L. Wagner, of Lancaster and John P. Wagner, husband of Carol, of Manheim.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Private Committal Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with Military Honors.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bank’s honor to Maytown Reformed UCC, PO Box 457, Maytown, PA  17550.
